Extraordinary attempt to present the dramatic history of the Żabińskis—caretakers of the Warsaw Zoo, who during the II World War sheltered a few hundred Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto. Łukasz Czajka uses unpublished archival footage and fragments of diaries, bringing a completely new dimension to the story known for example from the 2017 Hollywood movie “The Zookeeper’s Wife”.
